Eadweard Muybridge is a name synonymous with innovation in early photography. He also gained infamy for murdering his young wife’s lover!
There’s lots about him cropping up at the moment, and there was a wonderful hour-long programme about him on the BBC (sadly no longer available on iPlayer) but I thought I’d just put in a plug for a great exhibition in Kingston, just to the south west of London. Muybridge in Kingston remains open until 19 March 2011.
